AGFUND concentrates its plans on the promotion and support of  human development mainly in the following fields :

Poverty: Reduce the effects of poverty through micro-credit, provision of job opportunities, vocational training and the continuous development of skills.

Education: Focus on education in general and open education in particular. 

Health: Promotion of health services, environment, and water resources.

Childhood: Focus on early childhood development.

Women: Empower women in all economic and social development fields.

Human rights: Increase awareness of human rights, especially those of women and children.

Special needs: Help people with special needs to enable them lead a decent life.

Civil society: Support the sector of civil society organizations and enable it to carry out its role in a sustained social development.

Natural disasters: Contribute to the efforts of emergency relief to those affected by natural disasters and/or wars.
